Patient and Visitor Behaviour Statement

 

Guildford Chiropractic Centre is committed to providing a safe, calm and professional environment for patients, visitors and everyone who works here. We ask everyone attending or contacting the clinic to treat others with courtesy, dignity and respect.

 

Sexual harassment, sexual remarks or jokes, unwanted touching, intimidating conduct, discriminatory abuse, threats and other inappropriate behaviour towards staff, patients or visitors will not be accepted.

 

This applies in person and through telephone, email, messaging, social media or other online contact.

 

If behaviour causes concern, a member of staff may pause or stop an appointment, seek assistance or ask the person involved to leave. Depending on the seriousness and circumstances, the clinic may issue a warning, set conditions for future attendance, require a chaperone, refuse further care or contact the police. Any decision will be made fairly and proportionately, with immediate safety taking priority.

 

Anyone who experiences or witnesses inappropriate behaviour may speak to a member of the reception team or can contact the Practice Director, in confidence:
